I am writing to invite you to 'listen in' to planning experts in our fourth real-time e-dialogue (   http://e-dialogues.royalroads.ca/   ) on Wednesday,  December 13 , 2006, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST. The e-dialogue will be moderated by Dr. Ann Dale Trudeau Fellow, Professor, School of Environment and Sustainability ,  Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences  and Canada Research Chair on Sustainable Community Development Royal Roads University .

This week's expert panel includes : Marla Zucht, General Manager, Whistler Housing Authority; Kevin Hanna, Associate Professor, Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, Wilfred Laurier University; Carlo Bonanni, Project Manager, Toronto 2015, World Expo Corporation; Don Luymes, Associate Professor in  Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, University of British Columbia; Tony Boydell, Director, School of Environment and Sustainability, Royal Roads University; and Bill McAlpine, mayor, Town of Okotoks, Alberta.
 

Last week's conversation on waste management  revealed the critical need for integrated and intra-governmental coordination with education of users . We will continue on the theme of integration and what does it actually mean this week. As one participant stated, "we have to make it cost effective to do the right thing."
